Many people take the internet marketing the wrong way. Sometimes it is not their fault because they get introduced to this system the moment they surf on the net.
I think the main fault has the marketing expert or some copywriters. I don't know if they have watched too many martial movies in their childhood or what...
Anyway it doesn't matter what are the reasons, but as a business owner you should respect your customers the way you respect any loved person of yours. In the off line world you don't shout to a customer who enters in your business, do you?
So, why should you do it in the online world
Sometimes the ads you read they shout at you, "buy it now or you will be dead with your business by tomorrow". It looks like they compare their business to war.
Business should not be like war. A business should be like love. In your business you should treat your customer as your first dating with someone you fancy for.
You should not treat your customer as a one night-time-event at a motel. A business -
customer relationship should be of mutual benefit and it should be improved steadily to last for a lifetime.
If you treat your customer like in a one-night-love and forget it the next day you will make your business the same way...a one-time event. You shout to your customer buy your product and you'll forget about him as soon as you have sucked out his money.
I think many marketers if I can call them this way, think that the internet is different to an off line business because you have no visual contact to your customer.
But in the online business in my personal opinion you should treat even better your customer because of that reason.
Your customer the moment he gets to your site should have the feeling of trust, comfort and sincerity with other words he should feel like home.
If you’re online business inspires that feeling to your customers or visitors than I think you have a chance to build this long-time-kind of romance.
Only then you win a customer for long lasting relationship. And frankly a lot of marketing experts seem to forget all about that fact.
They only care for their sale but do not care to create a lasting relationship.
